Red Lightning Gear was borne out of Love. 

Love for the power & beauty I see in the women around me. 

The women who raised me up, loved me & showed me what RISE means. 

EVERYday we, FN women, r RISING. 

Rising in the power that beats in our hearts, runs thru our brains & grows w/every breathe. 

Red Lightning Gear honours & celebrates my sister. 

My Maria. 

She was taken fr us way too soon. 

She was a flash of Lightning. 

A bolt of red power lighting up the darkness.  

She was wild & powerful & a force of nature.  

Thru me & all who love her, and thru those line…she’s still here. 

Every time u see Lightning, u see the spirit of My Maria & all our Women who were taken by racism, hate & violence. 

They remind us ALL…it’s not too late. 

WE can BE & make the changes that r needed so there is safety, justice & peace for ALL.
